How do we know if we’re ready for an executive role?
The first section of The Junior Executive covers topics and concepts selected to assist a person who aspires to an executive role in any organization understand what is required of them. That is, by evaluating their own attitude and capacity in relation to the presented concepts, the reader should gain insight into their suitability for the executive role. The list of presented topics is not exhaustive, but covers the key aspects of our working persona that are often not clearly evaluated in consideration of the executive role. It should be used as a guide for reflection and any gaps noted will provide a roadmap for study and improvement for those who choose to take on the challenge.
